Remember Persecuted Christians – join us here this Wednesday

As part of a nation-wide campaign to remember persecuted Christians in the Middle East, Pakistan and elsewhere, churches are being encouraged to floodlight their churches in red this coming Wednesday 23rd November. Westminster Cathedral and Westminster Abbey are among those taking part. And so is St Mary’s East Finchley! Thanks to the work of Colin Wilshire we will floodlight our church front in red that evening. We will also hold a torchlight vigil on the raised embankment along the road, 6-7 pm, holding a banner saying Remember persecuted Christians. Please come and join us if you can.
